Kalhyge (CGI)
Kalhyge – Quoting tool
The request
Kalhyge wanted to redesign the app its teams use to price, present and update their clients' contracts, across three areas: workwear, flat linen and hygiene. A one-month engagement.
The solution
Before drawing anything, I placed the tool back in the sales cycle, from prospect to contract amendments. A quote is built in thirteen steps shown at the top of the screen, with one tab per client site and fields that fill themselves in. I delivered 45 annotated wireframe screens, so the development team had nothing to guess.
Starting from the sales cycle
Before drawing anything, I put the app back into the sales cycle, from prospect to end of contract. Sales reps produce quotes up to signature, the contract review is the hand-over point, then customer service handles amendments, all under the market manager's eye. The tool had to follow that path, from one quote to the next, then from amendment to amendment.

A quote built in steps
A quote is built in thirteen steps shown across the top of the screen, from entering the service to the contract review. Main steps are more prominent than intermediate ones, so you know where you are without reading every label. Each of the client's sites has its own tab, with one main site.

When an item is picked, the fields that depend on it fill themselves in: feedback that guides and reassures.
Annotated wireframes
The deliverable is 45 annotated screens. Each yellow note explains a behaviour or an ergonomic choice, so the development team does not have to guess.
